I absolutely hated this book. I found myself unable to put it down, and get to the homework I needed to do. The book gives great incite into life, and may rival The Alchemist in inspirational impact. I found myself turning page after page, captivated by the story the author was telling. It will keep you interested from start to beginning, and the values and style of writing will change your life.

The Seed Fola 9781463567897 Books Reviews

Nonsensical gibberish. Poorly written and riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes. I am relieved I only downloaded the free sample because I may have had to commit seppuku if I spent any money on this.
Having the chance to talk with the author himself about his master piece - "The seed", I instantly was suspended from seeing things as they are and amazingly through the insights and the case that he smartly and elegantly portrayed in our conversation, I was forced to travel across boundaries to rethink absolutes in a fresh and amusing manner. You can use this book to expand your brain muscles in a way to reframe defeating obstacles and turn them into building blocks. Just like I did.
While the book was well-written, I did not find myself interested in the subject matter. In fact, I found most of the story to be confusing. I hated the introduction and almost stopped reading after that point, but I persevered.
This is a must not read book. It is completely irrational. Fola (?) is a nut case. He shouldn't have a forum for his drivel. But there is a sucker born every minute. I hope someone will make a list of those who like this book. They deserve to be taken to the cleaners, literally and figuratively.
There are certain "Self Help" books that I have read that have been favorites - sometimes for years, sometimes just for a season. Some of these were amazing. Paolo Coelho's The Alchemist, Dan Millman's The Way of the Peaceful Warrior; Noah ben Shea's Jacob the Baker, or Robin S. Sharma's The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari each had a lasting impact on me and was read a few times. So when someone approaches me with a book they think is in the same class, I am always a little leery, and when the author approaches me, even more so. Unfortunately that was the case with this book.

The author set it up as containing the wisdom of the ages and being very enlightening. I cannot say for certain it is the worst book I have ever read but it is definitely close. It follows a character through different periods of history, supposedly reincarnated or continually living and learning new lessons in each epoch of history. The story rambles, the character is weak and it was a great effort just to finish the book and not give up. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would not even rate this book. Usually I can find something good to state about a book - for this one, other than the author's enthusiasm, I can't find anything good to say.
THE SEED by Fola is 157 pages long and was given to me by the author for review.

This is a very interesting book. It was a hard book for me to read as there were references to mathematical analysis and what can be derived from said analysis. I was expecting a fiction book and I found this to be more profound. There is a linear progression in the book with a start and finish, but you don't realize this until you finish the last page.

I believe the philosophy in this book was way over my head. When I read, I read to escape and if I learn something along the path that is great but if not, that is okay too. This book took way too much thought for me. I wouldn't say it was a bad book, it was just not my cup of tea.

There are references to mythology and spirituality that seemed to be beyond my comprehension. If you are expecting a light read, this is not the book for you. If you want to analyze where you are going and where you have been, then I would highly recommend this book to you.

I gave this book 3 out of 5 stars and wish Fola great success in his future. I am sure he has many more profound things to say.
I'm usually interested in travel books,a friend recommend The Seed and I said why not. Fola has a very natural way of taking you through the book. The chapters marries so well as you keep flipping the pages for more. The book has poetic and psychological story line. The author plays around with arithmetic formulas and structures to explain further the human thoughts, feelings and emotions. As you read the book you have the chance to travel with Fola wherever he leads you.It is a must read book.
